Mission

The mission of the Eritrean Muslim American Network for Youth & Professionals (EmanYP) is to foster a strong sense of community and support among Eritrean Muslim professionals, youth & young families, while nurturing their cultural and Islamic identity. Through vibrant and engaging activities/events, we aim to create opportunities for networking, personal growth, and mentorship for youth, college students, and young professionals.

Vision

Our vision is to build a united and empowered community of Eritrean Muslim professionals and youth in the united states starting in the DMV, bound by shared Islamic values and cultural heritage. EmanYP strives to be a platform that facilitates meaningful connections, offers resources for personal and professional development, and fosters a strong sense of belonging. By promoting collaboration, mentorship, and celebrating our diverse backgrounds, we aim to empower our members to reach their full potential while making a positive impact in their respective fields and community.

Organize engaging and fun programs for youth & young families

EmanYP aims to create opportunities for young families within the community to come together, strengthen bond, and create lasting connections.  Committed to organize family-friendly events and activities that promote interaction, fun, and a strong sense of unity within the Muslim community, nurturing the shared values and traditions among children and their parents.

Enhance cross-generational connections

EmanYP seeks to bridge the generation gap by fostering relationships and connections between different age groups, creating opportunities for mutual learning and growth.
